Announcement: February Half term week unexpectedly re available!

Formerly a boathouse, the property provides flexible accommodation over two floors. The ground floor comprises entrance hallway, lounge-diner, kitchen, twin bedroom and a family bath-shower room with wc, while upstairs is a double bedroom with a compact but bijou en-suite bathroom and wc under the eaves.

The downstairs bedroom and bathroom makes the property particularly suitable for parties including elderly or disabled members.

All bed linen and towels are provided but please bring your own beach and dog towels.

A cot is available and will fit in either bedroom - please bring your own sheets etc.

Utilities and cleaning charges are included.

Non smokers only but up to two small well behaved dogs are welcome! Please bring your own dog towels for muddy paws!

We are a family of four and a dog. Our two children love the property and the fact that the beach and promenade are only a minute away.

Although no formal garden, it is possible to sit outside in the loke, over which we have a right of way.

We have a secure lock up garage, just 100 yards away, which is available to rent for £5 per day or £30 per week.

Alternatively, parking is free in some nearby streets. Cliff Road council car park is very close and is £5 daily - free after 6pm until 8am. Weekly passes can be purchased at the Tourist Information Centre.

Situated in a quiet loke, free of traffic, yet just 200 yards from the seafront and high street, The Anchorage is a great bolthole from which to explore Sheringham and the sights and delights of North Norfolk.

The Sheringham beaches are safe and clean and are amongst the best we have found for families with children. Sheringham is one of the few places in the British Isles where you can see the sunrise and sunset over the sea.
