This homely cottage features a large garden, open fires and is the perfect base to explore the area http://littlesnoringschoolhouse.wordpres...
This holiday cottage began its life as a family home and we still think of it in this way. We therefore ask you understand that part of its charm lies in the fact that it isn’t like other holiday cottages, instead the character of our extended family is firmly stamped upon it.
We want you to feel as comfortable there as we always have. We hope you agee that the lower prices reflect this. Dogs and children are not only welcome but positively encouraged! You are also welcome to use our free WIFI internet access.
The cottage can sleep up to eight in the following beds: 1 double, 2 singles, 1 double sofabed and 2 child-size bunkbeds. Duvets, blankets and pillows are all provided. However we ask you bring your own sheets, duvet-covers and towels.
Please Note: There is no central heating. However electric heaters are provided in each room.
Ground Floor
Living Room: This is a small and cosy room, with a double sofabed, an armchair and a TV and DVD player. It also has an open fire to enjoy on cold winter nights.
Dining Room: This has always been where we tend to spend our evenings eating, drinking, talking and playing cards, monopoly or scrabble. There is a large dining table that 8 people can comfortably sit around. There is also an open fire, often providing the evening’s entertainment and two comfy, often-fought-over armchairs.
Toy Room: Leading off the Dining Room is the Toy Room. This is a small room, packed with cards and boardgames for the grown-ups and a variety of toys and games for the children. There is a also a small sofa which, with the addition of the provided blanket makes a deluxe bed for any visiting canine friends.
Kitchen: Through the Dining Room is the Kitchen. We hope you will find everything you need here to cook up a storm. There is an electric hob and oven, a dishwasher, washing machine, kettle, toaster, microwave, fridge (with an ice box) and all the pots, pans, crockery and cutlery you will need.
First Floor
Master Bedroom: The principle bedroom has a comfortable double-bed, storage facilities and stunning views out over the garden and the surrounding countryside.
Bunk Bedroom: The children’s room has a set of child-size bunkbeds (although adults have been known to squeeze into these when necessary.)
The Through Room: This is in fact a twin room with two single beds. Please be aware that you have to walk through this room to get to the bathroom, so not suitable for those seeking privacy, or preferring an early bedtime!
Bathroom: This is a spacious room, complete with toilet, sink, bath and electric-heated towel rail. Please note there is currently no shower.
