A charming traditional fisherman's cottage, with a west facing garden and wood burning stove, a short walk from the harbour, newly modernised, cosy and comfortable. The cottage takes its name from Scolt Head the local wildlife bird reserve.

This tastefully decorated cottage is very comfortable and has been modernised recently using the latest ecologically sound principles: air source heat pump, underfloor heating, insulation, wood burning stove - it has as low a carbon footprint as is reasonably possible in a 150 year-old cottage!
The cottage is ideal for couples, but sleeps up to 4.
The ground floor has an open plan sitting room with a wood burning stove - it is open plan to the kitchen.
There is a TV/DVD - digital which includes radio channels - iPod docking station, and WiFi.
The kitchen has a hob, oven, microwave, dishwasher and tall fridge-freezer.
The first floor bedroom has a king-size bed, large wardrobe and TV/DVD which is digital including radio. The shower room has a powerful shower, a basin, WC and heated towel rail.
The top floor twin bedroom is under eaves with two 3'wide beds. A travel cot, high chair and stair gate are available.
Weeks run Friday to Friday or Monday to Monday

Scolt Cottage has a good sized, enclosed west-facing garden accessed through a gate, with a summer house providing a delightful retreat, BBQ, table and chairs. In the outbuilding is a laundry room with washer-dryer and butlers sink.
There is an extra outside hot shower, useful for hosing down kids or dogs, when returning from the beach!
Burnham Overy Staithe is one of the most attractive North-West Norfolk coastal villages. The harbour is just a one minute walk away and the pub, serving delicious meals, is along the road. There are two tennis courts and a playground at the playing field. The walks along the creeks and to the beach are spectacular.
