Rose Cottage sleeps three comfortably. Toys and books are there for the kids, and in the sitting-room a flat-screen TV with Freeview plus a new wood-burning stove will keep you both warm and entertained! The refurbished kitchen has a built-in hob, electric oven, fridge, freezer, washer-drier and a table seating four. The beamed sitting room has a wood-burning stove and a flatscreen TV with Freeview, a DVD and a Video Recorder. Upstairs there is one double bedroom with a king-size oak bed, one single bedroom and a bathroom. The bathroom has a shower over the bath. A proper cot and high-chair are available if needed.

Outside, the South-West facing gravelled terrace catches the sunshine from lunch-time onwards and is lovely for sitting out in the evening. The small paved patio has a washing-line for summer drying of wet beach clothes. There is parking by the cottage.

The Norfolk village of Binham is a wonderful place for a holiday. It is a lovely unspoilt village next to the ruins of the 12th Century Binham Priory. The village is well-supplied with a local Grocery Store, a Butcher and Grazier, a Petrol pump, and the friendly and welcoming Chequers Inn which has good food and also brews its own beer. All these are close to the Village Green where a medieval Wayside Cross marks the site of the village fair held there from the reign of Henry I onwards and revived in 2007 with great success.

The North Norfolk Coast is easily reached, with the sandy beaches and dunes at Wells-next-the-Sea only 5 miles away. Just along the coast the pine woods, enormous beach and palladian mansion of Holkham Hall can be found. The georgian town of Holt, with its excellent shopping, cafés and restaurants is 7 miles away, it`s a mere 9 miles to the pretty shops in Burnham Market, and the market town of Fakenham with its busy Thursday Market and monthly Farmers Market is ten miles away. Blakeney Harbour, the Nature Reserve at Blakeney Point and the Norfolk Wildlife Trust reserve at Cley-next-the-Sea are all close. For walkers and cyclists the Norfolk Coast Path and North Norfolk Cycle Way run along the nearby coast, with a good service of coastal buses to bring you back to your car, if necessary.

Children are very welcome. Pets are very welcome on prior arrangement. Windows are double-glazed. Hot water, central heating, electricity and fully made-up beds are included in the rental price.

Prices per week from £285 low season to £495 high season. Arrival after 4pm on Friday. Departure by 10.30 am on the following Friday.

The cottage can be rented by the night, depending on availability. Prices for one-night or weekend breaks on request.
