About the cottage...

Rose Cottage Woodside is a detached house which has been completely refurbished in 2010. It is situated in the lovely bustling Georgian village of Burnham Market on the North Norfolk coast.

The accommodation is tastefully decorated and comfortably furnished to provide a spacious and well-equipped home for up to nine people.

There is a downstairs bedroom with en-suite bathroom which is ideal for those less able to climb the stairs.

Ground floor:
Kitchen Diner: A bright and airy room with French doors from the dining area out to the back garden with a separate quiet coffee snug. There is a newly fitted kitchen with ample cupboard and worktop space which is well equipped for nine guests with all new appliances including an electric cooker, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and washing machine. The dining area has a large extendable table and nine chairs. There are a number of DVDs, books and games at your disposal and a telephone for incoming calls.

Sitting Room: This is a comfortable and bright room with ample seating two three-seater sofas and comfortable armchairs. There is an open fire and CD player. There is a separate area with TV, DVD and Freeview which can be closed off from the main sitting room.

Double Bedroom: Opposite the sitting room is a downstairs double bedroom with en-suite shower room with shower, WC & basin. There are bedside tables with lamps, a wardrobe and a chest of drawers.

Cloakroom: Good sized cupboard for coats.

First floor:
Master Bedroom: Charming room with double bed, bedside tables with lamps, iPod TV, wardrobe and chest of drawers. There is an en-suite shower room with WC and basin.

Double Bedroom: Double bed, bedside tables with lamps, a wardrobe and chest of drawers.

Twin Bedroom: Full size single beds, bedside tables with lamps and a chest of drawers.

Single Bedroom: Full size single bed, bedside table with lamp and a chest of drawers.

Family Bathroom: Newly fitted bathroom with bath, hand held shower, WC & basin.


As we have small children ourselves, the house and garden are suitable for families with young children. The cottage is in a quiet cul-de-sac, so no passing traffic. There is a travel cot and high chair in the cottage for guest use. There are also books, toys and games for a wide age range.
