An ideal romantic retreat for two, it has the most beautiful views over the rolling hillsides; a stunning backdrop when sitting enjoying an evening glass of wine and watching the ducks glide by on the river below.

The cottage is hidden behind a high fence and gate, through which one enters the small courtyard leading to the front door. The cosy sitting room is furnished with squashy leather sofas piled high with cushions around a faux log burner, ideal for evenings at home watching dvds on the B&O televison with freeview or listening to CDs. Just off the sitting room is the newly fitted, well-equipped kitchen with double electric ovens and hob, fridgefreezer etc.

Upstairs there is a wonderfully comfortable bedroom with a brass bed dressed with crisp white linen and towels and here too there is a television and cd player. There is plenty of hanging space in the large fitted wardrobe on the private landing. The small shower room is fresh and light with wc and inset washbasin and powerful walk in shower.

There is an open garage for guests use in the shared drive and the cottage is conveniently placed within easy walking distance of the wonderful village pub and shop. Access to the coastal path leading to Stiffkey beach and its tiny quay is just opposite the cottage and the lovely villages of Blakeney and Wells are a short car ride away.

The charming owners of Riverside Cottage have provided many thoughtful extras for their guests; Molton Brown toiletries, interesting books and leaflets on the area and a lovely welcome gift.
