Just a mile from the sea, this pleasant, detached holiday cottage stands in large grounds situated in the popular coastal village of Stiffkey which has a pub and shopcafe.

Stiffkey marshes offers the most fantastic play area to children whilst avoiding the parking nightmare of Wells. Dam building - try and stop the tide - I always failed, crab catching contests and swimming in the creeks as the tide comes in. Some crab catching tackle and childrens spades supplied. No queueing or crowds. Not to be missed!

The cottage offers accommodation suitable for larger families and groups.

The rear garden has a paved seating terrace with 10 steps leading up to a raised sloping garden, which leads up into a natural meadow with cut pathways leading through the natural grasses, wild flowers and plants to encourage and support wild life, birds and insects.

The cottage offers an excellent location for exploring the North Norfolk coastline with its sandy beaches and RSPB bird reserves on the doorstep. Located in an Area Of Outstanding Natural Beauty, this makes a good base for touring this pretty part of Norfolk.

The popular seaside resort of Wells-next-the-Sea, Holkham Hall and the beach are close by. Sailing, sea fishing and golf courses available locally. Nearby are Blakeney Point and Morston Harbour for boat trips to visit the basking seals and Blakeney Point Nature Reserve Island. The historic market town of Holt has an array of shops, cafes and inns.

Traditional seaside resorts of Hunstanton, Cromer, Sheringham offer excellent sandy beaches and attractions for all ages, and the Royal Sandringham Estate and Museum are within a 20 mile radius. It is an hours drive to the famous Norfolk Broads where daily boat hire and river trips are avaliable to explore the expanse of waterways and the fine city of Norwich for excellent shopping is also close. Shop, pub and restaurant 14 mile.
