About the cottage...
Situated down a quiet village lane leading to a ford across the river Glaven, Middle Cottage exudes old fashioned comfort and charm, furnished with lovely antiques and collectables and offering a haven away from the everyday hectic pace of life!
A lavender lined garden path leads to the front door which opens into the cosy sitting room. A small sofa and armchair cluster around the wood burning stove and there is a small TV for evenings at home. Through into the kitchen which has all the basics, including an electric oven and hob, stainless steel sink and fridge on one side and a lovely little Georgian breakfast table on the other. The back door leads to an enclosed inner courtyard off which is the summerhouse. Tucked on one side is a freezer and a washing machine, and wicker chairs and table are placed in front of the double doors looking down the pretty cottage garden to the mill pond beyond - a blissful spot to sit and sip a gin and tonic and watch the sunset!
Stairs from the sitting room lead straight up into the double bedroom which has a lovely traditional feel, crisp white linen and soft towels and is wonderfully airy and light. A rear landing leads to the small single bedroom (available for a small extra charge) and bathroom both looking over the delightful garden to the rear.
This gem of a cottage, so original and sweet, but the owners would like to point out that the cottage is not suitable for children.
