Newly refurbished and available from June 2010, Magnolia Lodge is part of a larger house built in 1895. This imposing building sits on the corner of The Boulevard and North Street. The whole building has a lavish facade with Flemish and Crowfoot gables, battlements, large windows and tall chimneys.
The spacious Lounge dining room is South facing and and has comfy sofas, dresser, dining table and chairs. French doors lead out to the garden. Facilities include LCD TV, hi fi, dvd player and wireless internet access bring your own laptop for your enjoyment. The room has stripped original floor boards with rugs and deep skirting boards.
Opening off from the Lounge is the open plan fully fitted oak kitchen with oak block worktops. It has stainless steel sink, electric cooker, washing machine, dishwasher, microwave and fridgefreezer.
Upstairs there is a large bedroom with king size leather bedstead, built in original wardrobe and old Victorian fireplace not working. Views towards the sea.
There is a cosy second bedroom with double bed and original built in wardrobe.
Also upstairs is a extremely spacious bathroom with large bath, toilet, vanity unit with hand basin and separate shower cubicle.
The price is inclusive fuel costs for lighting, cooking and central heating. Bed linen, duvets, towels and tea towels are included.
For your convenience, and that of others smoking is not permitted in the cottage.
Outside in the rear garden is a gravelled area with table and chairs. There is also a small raised lawn area. To the front of the house there is gravel parking for up to 2 cars.
