Just three miles from the sea and situated in the pretty, unspoilt village of Binham with its landmark priory ruins, Lavender Cottage is a delightful brick and flint listed Norfolk cottage dating from 1709. It has been completely renovated and is now equipped and furnished to a very high standard and has a real home from home feeling.
The cottage provides comfortable and spacious accommodation for four people. It has an attractive beamed living room with open fire, and a fully equipped pine kitchen with dining area, and also a downstairs cloakroom.
Upstairs there are two double bedrooms, one with a king-size bed and the other with two three-foot twin beds. Both are supplied with co- ordinated linen. The new bathroom has a wall heater, matching basin, toilet and bath with mixer attachment and electric shower.
Outside is a small pretty garden equipped with Nova furniture and ideal for evening drinks or alfresco dining.
The cottage is only steps away from an amazing village shop which sells just about everything, and there is also a homely village pub The Chequers which serves homemade lunchtime and evening food, as well as their own range of mico-brewery beers.
Linen, electricity and heating are included in the rent there maybe a supplement for heating in the winter season. Towels and tea-towels are not provided, please bring your own. Sadly the cottage is not suitable for babies, toddlers or dogs, and is a non smoking property.
Weekly bookings are from Friday to Friday. Out of season weekends and short breaks may be available on request.
