ABOUT IVY FARM COTTAGE
This traditional flint walled village house is ideally located in the centre of Mundesley village within walking distance to village stores, post office and pubs. Next door to Gold Park, it is 3 minutes walk to the beautiful beach which is often deserted even in high season. The beach is extremely clean and well looked after with permanent lifeguard patrol. It is ideal for children.
Decorated and furnished to a high standard, the house is ideally suited for one or two couples, and children, as it has a completely enclosed walled cottage garden at the back.
THE HOUSE
The house is approached through a gate and path bordering a pretty garden.
Entrance hall with traditional settle, turn left through to kitchen.
Kitchen:
Fully fitted kitchen, gas oven and cooker, fridge, freezer, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine and all equipment and utensils. There is a small walk in pantry fully stocked with crockery and kitchen implements. Door out to garden.
Dining Room: Pine dining table and chairs, seats 6 people, fireplace, sideboard, CD Player, door out to garden.
Lounge: With fireplace, 2 comfortable sofas, colour TV, video, Sony Playstation 2 also works as DVD player, CDminidisc player, books and magazines, writing desk with chair, further chair, traditional furniture. Window out to garden.
Stripped wood stairs up to first floor:
Past airing cupboard to Bathroom: With wooden floor, freestanding roll top bath with shower attachment, WC and wash basin, large chandelier over bath, full size mirror on open brick wall. Windows over garden.
Along landing to Bedroom 1: Wooden floor, extra large king-size bed, bedside tables, chest of drawers and mirror, original built in wardrobe, armchair. large sash window over garden.
Along landing to Bedroom 2: Wooden floor, brass bed, bedside table, dressing table and mirror, original built in wardrobe, table and 2 chairs. Large sash window over garden. On a clear day it possible to see the sea from this room!
Bedroom 3: Next to bedroom 2 is a third bedroom with two single bunk beds. It has bookshelves, sash window over front garden.
Parking: Whilst there is no parking at the house, you are able to unload directly outside the front and then park just around the corner.
OUTSIDE
Garden: The garden is completely enclosed, and walled on two sides. It is laid out with four beds and lawn in the middle. From mid-May to early Autumn there is a constant display of flowers in bloom. In the corner is a teak table and four chairs ideal for drinks and dining outside. There is also a Weber barbeque which guests are welcome to use.
OTHER INFORMATION
Included in price: Electricity and gas fired central heating. Please feel free to use books, magazines, maps, games, radios and local information sheets in the house as well as all the extras such as umbrellas etc.
Linen: Bedlinen included. Blankets also provided.
Towels: Please note that towels are NOT included.
