Hall Farm Barn, a 17th Century converted barn (slps 4) in a truly outstanding and unspoilt rural setting in the pretty Norfolk village of Lamas next to Buxton close the Norfolk Broads. 20 minutes to the beach.
A perfect location for walking, cycling, boating, birdwatching fishing or golf. Ideal for dogwalking too.
Large courtyard garden with seating for 4 people. Parking for 2 or more cars. Gentle 15 minute stroll across fields to the Goat Inn at Skeyton who give a warm welcome and are pet friendly.
An idyllic location close to the River Bure which meanders prettily among the meadows of North Norfolk, passing quietly through the National Trust’s Blickling Hall estate, skirting the attractive market town of Aylsham, through Oxnead water mill, then a big lazy loop by Lammas church before feeding Buxton Mill and then on down to the Norfolk Broads.
Buxton is the main village with a general store, post office and 2 pubs but there is a wider range of shops in the market town of Aylsham 3 miles.
The capital of the Norfolk Broads one of 14 National Parks in the UK is only 5 miles away at Wroxham, and you may like to hire a boat to view the miles of waterways. The North Norfolk Heritage Coast and the sandy beaches of Cromer, Mundesley, Sea Palling and Horsey are a short drive away. The fine historical city of Norwich is 9 miles away with its many historical sites including Norwich Castle and Cathedral and a great selection of national and local shops for a bit of retail therapy.
