Trimingham is a quiet coastal village situated 4 miles to the south east of Cromer, within the north Norfolk Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
The cottage, is in the centre of the village within the Trimingham conservation area. It is a 19th century flint stone cottage with an extension to the rear, and a small enclosed garden. The cottage sleeps up to five people in 3 bedrooms.
Downstairs: A spacious lounge, off which is a small utility room with oil boiler, downstairs toilet, and a kitchen conservatory that leads into the garden. In the lounge is a widescreen TV with digital Freeview TV radio and a DVD CD player. The kitchen is equipped with Electric cooker, refrigerator freezer and microwave oven. In the utility room can be found an automatic washing machine.
Off the lounge leads a narrow and winding stairway. Please note that this stairway makes the property unsuitable for people with mobility problems that would make using the stairs difficult.
Upstairs: Off the landing are 3 bedrooms. 1 large double, 1 small double and a single room. In the bathroom is the upstairs toilet and a roll top bath with hand held shower.
Car parking: For small and medium sized cars off road parking is available to the rear of the cottage. This is accessed via. a narrow passage way to the side of the cottage. At its’ narrowest this is only 6 ft 6 ins wide. The turning area to the rear is also tight. Large cars and other vehicles will need to use the on road parking to the side of the church, about 50 yards from the cottage.
Local attractions: The Norfolk Broads at Stalham and Wroxham. National Trust
properties such as Blickling Hall,
Felbrigg Hall and Blakeney Nature Reserve. The sandy beaches of the north and north east Norfolk coast. The city of Norwich.
Attractive local walks make use of designated “Quiet Lanes” as well as public footpaths.
The nearby Woodland Leisure Park include a shop, bar, restaurant, and swimming pool all open to the public.
No smoking within the cottage
Short breaks are available out of the high season, for a minimum of 3 nights.
A non returnable 20% deposit is payable on booking, with the balance due 8 weeks before the holiday commences.
The rent includes oil, electricity, towels, bed linen and duvets.
Pets are welcome by prior arrangement.
