CLEVENCY COTTAGES
If you’re looking for a self catering holiday cottage in Norfolk we offer a choice of traditionally built, brick and flint holiday cottages, tastefully decorated, full of character and charm – real home from homes.

Cherry Tree is a two bedroom cottage with a double and a twin, Rose Cottage is also a two bedroom cottage, again with a double and a twin. Vine Cottage is a one bedroom cottage with a double room.

All our cottages are fully equipped. Each has Freeview digital TV, video recorder, CDRadio player, fridge, freezer, microwave oven, cooker, washing machine and iron and ironing board. The main bedrooms all have a radio clock alarm, hairdryer and TV.


Each cottage has a small selection of videos, books and plenty of tourist leaflets plus an information folder with suggestions of where to go, what to do, and where to eat!

The cottages are open all year round; we offer short breaks during off peak periods. Weekly bookings for Rose and Cherry Tree run Saturday to Saturday and Friday to Friday for Vine and Owl, short breaks can be available any day.

PRICES
Our prices vary depending on the time of year and for which cottage.
Short breaks start from £160 for Vine Cottage and from £195 for Rose or Cherry Tree Cottage.
Weekly stays start from £205 for Vine Cottage and from £255 for Rose or Cherry Tree Cottage.

Our prices are inclusive of the electricity, heating, hot water and all linen except bath towels.

PETS WELCOME
Your pets are more than welcome and there is a small charge of £18 per pet, per stay!

All our cottages are non smoking.

GREAT SNORING
Great Snoring is an unspoilt and peaceful Conservation village, with the River Stiffkey flowing around the outskirts. The medieval village of Walsingham with shops and pubs is 2 miles away, if you fancy walking there you can take the scenic bridal path! Fresh eggs can be purchased from the farm in the centre of the village as featured on BBC2's Great British Menu programme and you’ll find more facilities for shopping in Fakenham, 4 miles away.

Great Snoring is just 6 miles from the fabulous North Norfolk coast. The surrounding area offers a huge choice of what to do, places to visit and things to see, many local attractions are all within easy reach. If you’re looking for a family holiday, a quiet weekend or a relaxing week away, where better to stay!

North Norfolk has lots of beautiful sandy beaches, unspoilt and vast with skies to match, Wells, Holkham and Brancaster are amongst the best. There are plenty of nature and wildlife reserves with the RSPB at Titchwell and Snettisham, the Pensthorpe Wildfowl Centre and the salt marshes at Cley and Stiffkey. Blakeney and Wells-next-the-Sea are two lovely small fishing ports offering Seal trips over to Blakeney Point or quayside fishing for crabs. The larger seaside resorts of Sheringham and Cromer are just a few miles further along the coast.

Exploring this area you will come across some pretty Norfolk villages. The fashionable Burnham Market with it’s trendy shops and eateries is just 8 miles away and the ancient village of Little Walsingham with it’s famous shrine of ‘Our Lady’ is the next village on from Great Snoring, just 2 miles away. The bustling Georgian town of Holt with interesting shops and restaurants is 12 miles away and the market town of Fakenham offers local shops, pubs, a bowling alley, golf course, cinema and even a Racecourse, just 4 miles away.

The coastal villages of Stiffkey, Blakeney, Morston and Cley offer a selection of wonderful pubs, restaurants, charming shops and Deli’s selling local ‘Cromer Crab’, smoked fish and fresh mussels.

Tourist attractions nearby are plentiful; The Thursford Steam Museum, Holkham Hall, numerous National Trust Houses, Royal Sandringham, various Steam Railways, the Gressenhall Rural Life Museum, Bircham Windmill, the sprawling Lavender fields at Heacham, Langham Glass, the Dinosaur Park, the Norfolk Shirehorse Centre, many art galleries and plenty of Golf Courses. A perfect area too for walking, birdwatching and cycling.
