Chantry is reputed to date from the 17th Century and has undergone extensive refurbishment to make it a comfortable cottage to stay in and has recently had the bathroom, shower room and kitchen replaced. It retains many of the old beams and features that were previously part of the cottage.

All rooms face south, overlooking a small enclosed private courtyard garden. It is very secluded indeed but less than a minute from shops and transport. Free parking is available nearby.

The house is furnished throughout with antiques and the accommodation comprises:

Ground Floor: Lounge with comfortable seating, freesat TV and DVD player, wifi internet access

Dining room with large table and chairs seating 8.

Newly fitted kitchen with electric cooker, fridge, microwave and dishwasher.

UPSTAIRS

First Floor: Double bedroom, twin bedroom and shower room with large, power shower. Washing machine and tumble drier in fitted cupboard.

Second Floor: double bedroom with kingsize bed, twin bedroom and bathroom with roll top bath.

Sheets and pillow cases are included in the price. Towels are available at extra cost.

Chantry is ideal for 2 families maximum 8 people plus baby and we also own a cottage next door which sleeps 5 so we can easily accommodate large groups.

The cottage has full gas central heating and water heating. Gas and electricity are included in the price.

A travel cot and high chair are available.
