A great base in all seasons for your holiday or short break in Blakeney, Blackbird Cottage is snug for couples of all ages and highly suitable for young families due to the pretty, sunny, safe and secure garden. As a single storey property it is an ideal coastal quayside retreat for those less mobile around winding or narrow stairs and spaces.

Refurbished by the owners of the adjacent Counting House, this bright, two bedroomed property is in a lovely location set back just slightly from the quayside and coastal path. Originally part of period barns belonging to Manor Farm, now The Manor Hotel, Blackbird is hidden away on Mariner's Hill and offers:

PARKING

Close to the quayside and start of the coastal path, our guests are so near to everything required for a great holiday.
Upon leaving the cottage gate you turn into Mariners Hill with wonderful views over the wildfowl ponds, dinghy park and marshes and, of course, the first steps for the coastal path to Cley or Morston and beyond.
A short walk over or around Mariner’s Hill, less than a minute if you don’t stop to admire the amazing view, leads you to the High Street with Moorings Bistro and Coffee Shop on your right and the White Horse pub and restaurant directly in front of you. A torch is provided for late trips out! Also in the High Street, Blakeney Deli and gift shops.
A brief stroll across the scenic quayside takes you to the well stocked supermarket, a fishmongers and another pub. You will find two hotels, an ice cream kiosk and refreshment caravans at the quayside.
Further information is provided about North Norfolk, Blakeney, boat trips, walks, beaches, golf, bird watching, coastal walks and cycling, places to visit and places to dine.
