Bayses Barn - Briningham, Norfolk

Announcement: Wkend breaks at Bayses during Jan & Feb. Beautiful views, stunning quiet location ideal for exploring NN coast.

This barn was completed in April 2010.

To make the most of the view and to maintain its original appearance the front of the barn is filled by three huge glass screens. The living area is semi open plan with the kitchen, dining area. It is a huge area dominated by an inglenook fire place with a woodburner. The living area is filled with comfy sofas, largescreen TV and DVD, modern leather chair and lounger. There is also a high quality sofa bed in this room - so as not to exclude families with three children like us!

The master bedroom looks out through French Doors on to the courtyard area. It has an ensuite shower room, kingsize bed, tv, wardrobe and dressing table.

The second bedroom has twin beds and wardrobe. This bedroom is also ensuite with a bath and a shower within the bath.

Both bedrooms and bathrooms are finished to a high standard - good quality, lined curtains and blinds, fully tiled bathrooms, heated towel rails etc.

The kitchen has a slighly modern feel. There is a central work station with ceramic hob. There is a built in double oven, fridge, separate freezer, full size dishwasher and plenty of high quality cooking equipment. There is also a washing machine and tumble dryer.

The barn is equipped with WiFi and a land line that takes incoming phone calls. This is all included within the price - there are no hidden extras!

All bed linen and towels, bath mats, tea towels are provided. The barn is equipped with various basic essentials like cling film, foil, kitchen roll, salt and pepper, a toilet roll or two, washing up liquid, dishwasher tablets etc. A welcome pack of bread, milk, eggs if my chickens are performing, home made marmalade or jam, tea bags, coffee and sugar is ready for your arrival.

You can always make your first night that little bit easier by ordering a meal to be left in the fridge - the owner of the property is a trained cook. Please see website for details.

Dogs are more than welcome at a small additional charge.

At the front, the barn opens out into a courtyard which has been partly terraced. Outdoor furniture and BBQ are provided. The back of the barn opens out through French Doors from the living area to a second terraced area which catches the morning sun - sit and enjoy your breakfast and enjoy the view towards Lobbs Valley and Bayses Wood.

We offer beautiful walks on our farm that surrounds the property.

It is not easy to describe with justice the brilliant position of this barn - it is approached down a Green Lane and sits in a secluded spot in the middle of the owner's farm, overlooking an environmental meadow. The only thing that will wake you up will be the birds! Many of our guests have claimed that they are locking themselves in on their Friday departure day!
