For warmer days the fully enclosed, mostly lawned garden offers a patio area and barbeque. For additional ease of use double doors open onto the garden from both the sitting room and the kitchen. The kitchen itself is lovely. The finish of the hand built units is high anyway but the owners have equipped it thoughtfully to encompass the needs of most cooks. ( if you want to! - the White Horse at the Staithe is down the road and this part of the world abounds with culinary excitement) There is a central island unit with a breakfast bar and stools. All the rooms are of a good size and the house as a whole has a light, clean and airy feel.
One interesting locational feature of Alexander House is the footpath discreetly hidden behind a hedge located on the opposite side of the parking area which takes you directly to the coastal path, a 5 10 min walk.
The standard of Alexander House is just so good highly recommended for a memorable holiday.
