Thornham is located on the North Norfolk coast about one hours drive from Norwich. Thornham is ideally located for sailing and water sports and is popular with families, birdwatchers, golfers, weekenders or indeed anyone wishing to escape to an area of outstanding natural beauty. There are several beautiful beaches within the immediate proximity of Thornham including Holme Dunes, Brancaster and Holkham. Sandringham, the Holkham estate, Houghton Hall as well as the fashionable market towns of Burnham Market and Holt are all within easy reach. The RSPB Titchwell Marsh reserve is on the doorstep. The village has a farm shop, a post office, a church and three pubs each with good restaurants.
